Star-spotting over the tablecloths
There is more than just good food, table service and the chance of a night away from home that is drawing Britons to eateries around the UK - there is also the chance to do a spot of celebrity spotting.
And diners do not have to break the bank to eat alongside the stars, with the Daily Mail claiming that many famous faces can be spotted over the tablecloths of some of the country's high street restaurants.
Indeed, the newspaper's Emma Messenger claims that Robert Pattinson and David Beckham are both big fans of Nando's, while Denise Van Outen chose its dishes to satisfy her cravings when she was pregnant with her first child.
"Nando's is the hottest destination for celebrities and, thanks to its fast food prices and myriad outlets, mere mortals, too," she explains.
So rather than tying on their amateur restaurant aprons, Britons may wish to step out to a real eatery and keep their fingers crossed their night will be lit up by the presence of a famous star.
Denise Van Outen recently gave birth to daughter Betsy but was snapped looking trim at David Walliams' wedding just weeks later, which may mean Nando's chicken is the perfect tasty treat for people keen to stay slim.
