  • UKHA Olympic Challenge featured in the Caterer

    The first UK Housekeeping Association (UKHA) Olympic Challenge was recently held at the Millennium Copthorne and Chelsea Football Club on 5 October 2012.

    27 Hotels competed in the event with each displaying excellent speed, attention to detail, enthusiasm and competitiveness for the five events. The contestants’ skills were put to the test as they went head-to-head in rounds, including bed making and innovation, toilet roll throwing, vacuuming around obstacles, a knowledge quiz and an ‘eye-for-detail’ round, whereby entrants had to spot and remove hidden stickers in a bedroom set.
