Council report calls for more Highlands events

The success of bed and breakfasts and hotels in the Highlands will improve as long as big events continue to come to the region, it has been claimed. A report from Highland council officials has revealed that trade in the area has been boosted by music festivals such as The RockNess and Belladrum, with performances from Rod Stewart and The Proclaimers also helping.

Over the course of the next year, people attending Highland concerts from Westlife and The X Factor contestants could be looking to stay in a quality bed and breakfast. As a result, proprietors should be sure to stock up on bed linen, tablecloths and hospitality services guaranteed to make their stay a pleasant one.

The report also outlined the substantial economic benefits such events bring the region, adding: "These events bring significant economic benefit to much of the city with many of the hotels, bed and breakfast establishments, and shops doing good business. The other more intangible benefit is through the raising of the Highlands as a place to hold events."

Establishments looking to improve their hospitality services ahead of any big Highlands events should look no further than Richard Haworth. We offer a variety of great products designed to give you peace of mind whenever you have parties stay at your bed and breakfast.
