Landlord optimism to boost wholesale bedding purchases?
Those working in the hospitality sector may be interested to learn that new figures have revealed landlords are more positive about the UK economy.
In news that could encourage some to stock up on new wholesale bedding supplies, the National Landlords Association (NLA) stated 57 per cent of people in the industry believe business over the next three months will be 'good' or 'very good'.
According to the organisation, this optimism is driven by the fact there has been increased tenant demand and a rise in property values.
Policy manager at the body Chris Norris said the sector has "faced considerable challenges", but looks to have "turned the corner".
"Alongside a more positive outlook for their own lettings businesses, landlords are beginning to think more actively about possible acquisitions in the next quarter," he remarked.
Chairman of the NLA David Salusbury recently called on the government to ensure landlords can keep turning a profit by offering them capital gains tax exemptions.
