How wholesale bedding and welcoming decor can help families bond
Holidays are key occasions in which a family can bond and however long people plan to get away for, the experience is likely to be equally valuable.
Sally Shalam wrote for the Guardian in 2008 that bed and breakfasts are increasingly being fitted with luxurious linens and more comfortable mattresses, indicating that many owners are more aware of the importance of good-quality wholesale bedding suppliers in winning repeat custom in a challenging tourism environment.
Lucy Ace, managing director of Takethefamily.com, said that it is important for UK families to take a break from their day-to-day lives and spend some time together as a unit.
B&Bs and UK hotels may be seeing an increase in the amount of businesses they draw in from holidaying families, as she noted there is evidence to suggest that parents are opting for several shorter breaks each year, rather than the traditional two-weeks away.
"Forest lodges, short holiday parks or campsite breaks and city breaks in the UK [... are good options for family getaways]," she recommended.
Accommodation can be made welcoming with the most simple of additions, such as colourful tablecloths or plush towels, but value for money is just as important.
Indeed, recent research from HolidayExtras.com revealed 64 per cent of holidaymakers claim good value is their top consideration when planning a break.
