Enjoy a 'sense of escape' at Peak District hotel
Britons looking for a sense of escape from their day to day lives have been advised to head to a hotel or bed and breakfast in the Peak District.
Indeed, owners of holiday accommodation may wish to stock up on hotel supplies, after David Thornton - deputy chief executive and head of marketing at Visit Peak District and Derbyshire - told travellers that the region has something to offer everyone.
"We actually welcome over 36 million visitors a year into the Peak District and Derbyshire, so with that you have to have an accommodation type for everybody," he explained.
Mr Thornton added that the Peak District has become an attractive destination for Britons looking to save money when they go on holiday, as in addition to all of its attractions it boasts "inspirational" scenery.
And hotel owners may wish to visit the Bakewell Agricultural show in August to stock up on restaurant supplies and offer their guests a locally produced feast.
Pubs are also doing well in the Peak District, with iknow-uk, claiming that many Britons are flocking to the region to sample the drinking establishments.
