  • Richard Haworth at Hotelympia

    Richard Haworth showcased a number of new innovative products at this years Hotelympia event in Excel London. Our stand was a huge success as we showcased products including our Optima finished bed linen, the unique easy change EasyValance and the Great British Table Linen set. Raj Ruia, managing director at Richard Haworth commented: "We’re constantly looking to pioneer new products to save hotels and B&Bs time and money.   • Luxury hotel at St Pancras to reopen in May 2011

    A heritage site

    Opened in 1873 by Queen Victoria, the hotel known as The Gilbert Scott at St Pancras was once one of the UK's most luxurious hotels. The jewels in its crown included a two-storey Venetian ballroom, a red brick gothic facade, and one of the world's first elevators. Now a Grade 1 listed building a stone's throw from the Eurostar terminus, it is set to re-open as a Marriott Renaissance hotel in May 2011 and once again become an icon of grandeur.

    The refurbished hotel includes 245 bedrooms and 38 suites, all with exquisite original features and restored to the Victorian standard. The soft furnishings too will need to be in keeping with the hotel, such as vintage-style boutique bed linens made to fit the king-size beds. Continue reading
