Business travellers prefer night sleeping in hotel wholesale bedding
When it comes to getting the best night's sleep, it has been revealed that the majority of business travellers prefer to snooze in a hotel, rather than their own beds.
According to recent research commissioned by Quadriga, 86 per cent of corporate travellers said they favoured staying in such accommodation if they had an early meeting the net day - where they may get a good night's sleep wrapped in quality wholesale bedding.
The Opinion Matters study also revealed that 74 per cent of the respondents who would stay in a hotel claimed that they did so in order to get some "me time".
Being able to work without distraction and catching up with colleagues and friends were also found to be reasons prompting people use hotels after work.
Marc Budie, technology director at Quadriga, commented on what the research means for the industry, saying: "This must create a growing opportunity for hoteliers to communicate with their guests in their room and as such will help to drive revenues from additional services, such as leisure facilities, restaurants and bars."
Staying at a hotel could also be a cleaner option, after a poll by Silentnight revealed that more than a third of Britons are willing to wait for longer than one month before putting their sheets in the wash.
