A message to our customers
Given the current unprecedented international health crisis, we wanted to keep you updated with the latest situation at Richard Haworth Ltd. Like everyone, we have been busily gathering as much information as possible about the impact of the Coronavirus (Covid-19).
We had spent considerable time planning for the disruption, working with our supply chain to ensure as little disruption as possible. As things stand, we are operating a full service, with customer service, warehousing and deliveries all continuing to be fully operational.
With that in mind we want to tell you about some of the steps we have taken so far.
We have a dedicated cleaning team regularly disinfecting workstations and communal areas paying special attention to the areas that naturally attract more physical contact. We’ve added more hand sanitisers and reminders to colleagues how to maintain the highest hygiene standards.
We are being extra cautious in terms of any colleague signs of illness, isolating where necessary and going over and above the advice from government and the WHO. We have practised social distancing to ensure sensible distancing between staff. In addition, staff are primed to work in different roles if and when required.
Our couriers are no longer asking customers to sign handheld units and instead drivers will sign it on your behalf. Consignees names will be recorded and a 'Delivered on Authority' message in the signature section of the unit. Customers will continue to get full track and trace functionality.
Finally, we are in constant contact with all relevant authorities to make sure that we continue to do everything we can.
We are here to help and support our customers and we can be relied on. If you have any concerns or questions, our team is on hand at Kearsley Mill so please do not hesitate to get in touch by calling us on 0870 777 5000 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org .
It’s the kindness and support that we give to each other that will help us get through these unprecedented times.
Take care and my very best wishes to you and your family & friends.
Raj and the Richard Haworth team
