Advice on hotel supplies offered to B&B owners
Britons planning to open their own bed and breakfast or considering converting their home into holiday accommodation are set to receive some helpful tips at a forthcoming meeting.
On May 4th, a group of local B&B providers will be visiting St Nicholas Church to offer advice on everything from what hotel supplies to choose, what to serve for breakfast, to what to charge for a night's stay.
The Eastern Daily Press reports that the session will provide advice for anyone in the region considering opening up their homes to holidaymakers in order to make a profit.
According to the news provider, the event will be supported by the Griffon Area Partnership.
Would-be B&B owners may be able to get some more advice on what and what not to do by tuning into the new Channel 4 series 3 In A Bed.
In the show, the owners of three B&Bs meet for the first time and then spend the night at each of their establishments, offering marks out of ten for their experience.
Everything from whether or not quality wholesale bedding has been used to whether the breakfast was burnt is chewed over by the participants as they battle it out to give their guests the best experience.
