Britons have been offered some tips that could see them enjoying a bedroom as luxurious as that in a hotel.
Channel 5's Hotel Inspector Alex Polizzi advised people to keep their
white bed linen looking beautiful, by pressing the top sheet or duvet cover if they do not have time to iron everything.
"It will give you the same crisp look as a hotel, especially when you fold the corners of your covers down. Invest in two expensive, heavy linen pillowcases to keep on your top two pillows for an extra luxurious feel," she advised.
Polizzi also recommended investing in the
spa supplies that can be found in some hotel bathrooms, such as fragrant essential oils or bath salts.
Placing flowers in bowls around the room can also help to boost the space's aesthetic appeal, while she also advised purchasing some big, fluffy
wholesale towels and a luxurious bathroom robe to relax in.
Britons may wish to ensure that they give their favourite cuddly toy a wash so it matches the grow-up room, after research by Travelodge revealed a third of UK adults still take a teddy bear to bed.
