Third of Brits 'snuggle with teddy under white bed linen'
Many Britons will admit to owning a much-loved toy when they were young that they could not sleep without.

However, it has been reported that a third of UK adults still take a teddy with them when they snuggle under white bed linen for the night.

According to the study by hotel chain Travelodge, many people said they took a cuddly companion to bed as it was comforting.

In addition, 25 per cent of men admitted to packing a teddy with them when they go on a business trip as it reminded them of home.

With the average age of a soft toy standing at 27 years, losing one while travelling could be devastating no matter what a person's age.

Luckily, Travel Lodge has revealed reuniting 75,000 bears who have been lost in the piles of wholesale bedding or elsewhere on the premises with their owner over the course of the last year.

According to the Metro, the first Teddy Bear Museum in the world opened in 1984 in Petersfield, Hampshire.
