New wholesale bedding may be required for 120-bed hotel
Premier Inn has been given the green light to build a new hotel in High Wycombe, it has been reported.

The leisure accommodation chain may require plenty of hotel supplies such as wholesale bedding, as the Bucks Free Press notes that the new building will boast 120 beds.

Subject to planning obligations, the new resort will be built in Arch Way, opposite the Dovecot multi-storey car park by Sainsbury's.

It is hoped that the project will create 50 jobs, following permission being granted by Wycombe District Council.

Locals were invited to find out more about the hotel earlier in the year, where they learnt that the building will include a restaurant and bar area, along with its own car park.

Premier Inn's Richard Pearson said at the March event: "[The hotel will] regenerate this site, provide local jobs and bring much needed hotel accommodation to boost local tourism"

In related news, the BBC recently reported that a 157-room hotel is to be built in Station Road in Cambridge, while a second 219-bed hotel will be constructed on Newmarket Road.
