Could white bed linen help Katy Perry's fear of the dark?
Pop star Katy Perry has admitted that she has trouble sleeping in the dark unless she is sharing white bed linen with fiance Russell Brand.

The I Kissed A Girl singer, who hit number one in the official UK Album Chart this weekend (September 5th) with Teenage Dream, told the Radio Times that she is afraid of something bad happening if she turns the light off.

According to the magazine, the celebrity has given up the party lifestyle and now fears that "a lot of evil things go on" when she is in bed with no light.

"I still have to cover my toes because I'm like that kid who thinks there's a witch under my bed who's going to eat my tootsies off. I sleep with lights on unless I'm with Russell," Perry said.

The Scottish Record recently advised TV presenters Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles to get a good night's sleep with white bed linen in order to cope with rising early to appear on the sofa for ITV's new show Daybreak.
